You'll have to watch and see' — Babes Wodumo's 'Uthando Lodumo' returning for season 3

Babes Wodumo is heartbroken over the death of Eyadini founder.

Musician Babes Wodumo says she had to grieve properly for her late husband Mampintsha but is excited to now let Mzansi in, announcing the reality show Uthando Lodumo is back.

In season one we saw the couple concluding their lobola negotiations, celebrating their star-studded wedding and anticipating the birth of their first child, affectionately known as “Sponge”.

In the next one that aired in 2022 fans got a front-row seat into the heated drama between Babes and Mampintsha's mother and how the couple were getting along since they said “I do”.

TshisaLIVE did a Q&A with the singer about the reality show, her music and life, after Mampintsha's death.

How different was it this time around filming the show?

Well it's different cause now I had to make my own decisions while before I used to make it with Mampintsha so I'm literally doing everything on my own with the help of my team of course. But all is well.

Any new music in the pipeline?

My album is coming out next month. Fans will get to hear the last magic we poured out on this album, plus next year I'll be releasing Mampintsha's album as well. His album is done. He was gonna release this year but I'll carry on as planned. Fans are gonna love it.

What can viewers expect to see?

More drama, a lot about how my life has been after the passing of my husband, struggles and challenges of being a single mom having to wear my queen crown with pride and finding my feet.

How have you been coping since your husband passed away?

At times lonely, having to have this big house all by myself, no more funny remarks from him. It's been challenging but I must say I've handled it very well cause life should go on.
