South African Iconic singer Ringo Madlingozi celebrated his 59th birthday on Tuesday, 12 December by dedicating an appreciation post to his mother. On Thursday, he attended Zahara’s funeral and paid tribute to her by singing one of her classics titled Loliwe.

Ringo Madlingozi is now a year away from the big 6-0. From making legendary hits like Nakum Nakum, Sondela, Into Yam, and more; to cementing his mark in politics, he has truly been blessed with an extra ordinary life.
To mark his 59th birthday, earlier this week, he rushed to his Instagram feed and praised his mother for giving birth to him, loving him, and more.
So the other day, after a performance, when I held my mother close to me and told her that I love her forever, she looked at me and told me that she loves me as well. What a beautiful moment that was. I believed it. There is a proof to it that I’m alive,” he penned.
“She kept me alive within her and she kept me alive when I was on my own and breathing on my own. I’m talking about 59yrs ago today. Thank you Mama for my life. Thank you Mama for watching me grow to be the man I am today,” the iconic singer added.
