Sad news has been shared on social media that Mandy Malebo committed suicide and died at the young age of 28. Known for her lifestyle on Instagram and sharing a child with Kelly Khumalo’s producer Mondli Mgcobo, Mandy’s departure leaves a void in the hearts of her many followers.
Reports have it that Mandy Malebo was depressed and troubled, as shown by the many videos she shared ranting. The Johannesburg-based socialite was always complaining about her life on social media. People believe that that’s what led her to take her own life.
News has it that Mandy Malebo drank poison on the 4th of January 2024 and succumbed. The socialite is said to have been rushed to the hospital, but the medical staff could not reverse the damage already done.
Unveiling Mandy Malebo’s Struggles
Throughout the past years, Mandy Malebo often expressed her grievances about her ex-partner and the father of her child, Mondli Ngcobo. Since 2022, she had been vocal about Mondli’s purported neglect, citing a mere R1,500 in child support payments and accusing him of being an absentee father to their son, Khanya.
One poignant post from July 2022 saw Mandy vowing Mondli would find no peace until he made time for their child. Alleging that Mondli used the minimal child support contribution as an excuse for his absence, Mandy revealed that Khanya had only met his father, who happens to be Kelly Khumalo’s music producer, once when he was a year old.
