The Limpopo-born rapper was on his way to perform at an ANC Siyanqoba Rally celebration concert in Lebowakgomo when his Volkswagen Polo collided with a truck.
According to Sunday World, a grey vehicle carrying three passengers, including Shebeshxt’s daughter, had a rollover accident. Tragically, the nine-year-old girl lost her life in the crash. Tidimalo Chuene, the spokesperson for the transport department in Limpopo, confirmed the heartbreaking news of the little girl’s passing. Shebeshxt’s long-term partner and manager, Kholofelo, who was also in the car, sustained serious injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Videos of the scene, including footage of the lifeless body of Shebeshxt’s daughter beside his damaged car, have circulated on social media platforms.
